Well, Hello, Blog

I am so behind on my blog right now! Two reasons for that: my laptop is on the fritz, so I have to use my desktop computer (which is slow and out of my eyesight, so I don't think about it much). Also, we just traveled to Tallahassee for a wedding, then I am leaving town again on Wednesday. I am taking my three children to my parents' house....without Brett....yes, apparently, I am crazy.

I missed my scheduled Family First Friday last week and will miss it again this week :(. I have some good topics on the horizon. Between running errands and packing, I may be able to write one tomorrow. I am a bit neurotic before I leave town, though, so don't hold your breath. Not that you would.

It has been an awesome past couple of weeks. Very busy but so fun.

While in Tallahassee, Caleb and Chloe went to Disney World with their grandparents. I will blog more on that later, but I would be willing to bet it was the best day of their lives!! They LOVED it.

I am falling in love with South Florida. God has brought me wonderful friends, and reconnecting with old friends has been awesome. I miss Fall in Kansas, but I am enjoying the warm temperatures!

There is so much I feel like I need to update, so hopefully I will do that soon!
But for now, I wanted the world to know I am alive and well.

Real quick....
As we were packing for the wedding, Chloe asked me why I was not wearing my wedding dress to the celebration. She could not understand why that is totally inappropriate. Very cute. Chloe wants to marry her Uncle Blake. She talks about getting married just about everyday. She says, "Caleb, let's marry" when she wants to pretend to have a wedding.

When we told Caleb we were going to a wedding, he excitedly said, "Awesome! You are going to come home with a baby!!" Not sure where he came up with that, but we do tell him that he did not get put in my belly until after we got married....so maybe that's how?!!

Life is busy, but life is good. I will update more soon. YAY!

  1. I am so glad you'll be updating soon! I have missed your amazing writing and thoughts! Glad to hear that South Florida is making it's way into your heart... :-) It totally did for me, just took some time. And I can't wait to hear about the kiddos' time in the most magical place ever! Sounds like a dream! Love to you!
