Laughs

Image
My kids are seriously so funny. My three older kids walked into my room yesterday, all with "babies" in their tummies. Then they proceeded to birth their babies. Haha! - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

$6 Redo

My laundry room/mudroom needs some sprucing up. But the last thing I want to do is paint it. It's small but tons of things to paint around. It's not a highly noticeable room, and we don't spend much time in it. I decided to buy contact paper to see if it would help give new life. It was cheap, so it was worth a try! I like the new color, but I'm not sure how white trash it is :). I may end up painting the room (painting the cabinets is too much work, haha). The Before

Image
This week, I am doing the official summer room switcheroo (that will last well beyond summer). I haven't done the switch yet, so there's no after pictures yet! Our current office that will be Caleb's new room: (I love panorama pics) Notice the nasty carpet: The homeschool room (with already madeover chairs) that will remain the homeschool room. It will now have the office desk, which will help tremendously with school! When we need to look stuff up or print stuff off, it's right there! Thinking far down the road, with three boys in the house, we want the computer to be out in the open for their protection! If you know what I mean :). This room is weird for me. It is the first room you see when entering our home. I would so prefer it to be beautiful, but in this season of life, it serves our family well to be functional over beautiful. Chloe crafts literally every day, and I love the freedom this table offers for her imagination. The boys pop in from time to time to do a

Chairs

We are doing a small time house redecoration this summer. This is one project. The chairs originally matched our red furniture. With giving Caleb his own room and making the homeschool room more practical, the red furniture won't fit anymore (which is sad because I love it). We are passing it on to a friend who's getting married this summer! Here's the before and after. The new color goes with the rest of my house! - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Levi- 11 Months

Image
At 11 months, Levi has two full teeth (top front teeth), two bottom middle teeth coming in, and one more top tooth coming in.  It's been a teething month. Levi still loves to laugh!  He crawls around constantly and eats everything he can find.  Although he plays pretty independently, the eating issue makes me have to watch him constantly.  He is a mama's boy, for sure.  Whenever I walk into the room, he races over to me. Levi isn't a difficult baby but he isn't super easy.  He can throw a good fit and doesn't sleep/nap well.  He is getting better but is not consistent.  He is determined, so if he doesn't want to nap, he won't nap.  The upside: he weaned off of a pacifier with no effort on my part, so that's nice! Besides the sleep issue and occasional fit, he is so fun and absolutely adorable!!  He has a good spirit and LOVES his brothers and sister. We are so blessed by our sweet boy!!
