Improving My Home

I am loving all the home improvement projects I've gotten to do since owning our home!! For now, I'm only doing ones that are easy on the budget. I have some long term plans on some bigger projects (you know, for when I win the lottery).

In our foyer, there's a planter. I was unsure what I should do with it, at first, but I decided to actually put plants in it.

Because I have zero gardening ability, I Googled "hardest plants to kill". I found some plants I like that made the list.

Here is the before picture of the planter:

I love how much brighter and fun it is!! The paint is whiter than I had hoped, but it looks fine so it's staying! I had wanted an off-white, but the bright white stands out more.

The "before" color was nowhere else in my house, but we have lots of white! So it goes much better with the house!

It's fun to have real plants in the house, and I enjoy this unique feature of our house!

Yay for home improvements!!!

And Baby Makes 6

Baby Williams #4 is on the way!! We are beyond thrilled. I am due June 22, so I am about 4 and 1/2 weeks along. Each time I have been pregnant, I can almost tell immediately....I get insanely tired and very emotional (some might call it irritable). Because of that, I have never actually surprised Brett with a pregnancy. For a week leading up to taking a test, I say about 431 times a day, "I think I am pregnant"....so by the time I take the test, it is no surprise. I plan for this to be my last pregnancy. The only reason I don't say that without absolute certainty is because anytime I try to make "my" plans, God surprises me....but our plan is to stop with 4. I feel like this will be my last pregnancy, and for the first time ever, I am really excited about that! Because it's my last, I wanted to actually surprise Brett this time.
