Fake Tears

When you have a girly girl living in a house of boys, you get a lot of fake tears.

But today's tears take the cake.

Chloe and Luke were playing together in her room. I heard Luke scream and cry....followed by Chloe saying, "I'm sorry" about ten times.

Luke runs out to me, still crying.

Chloe runs up after, fake crying, and said through her tears (that were, ironically, not coming out) "Lukey got huuuuuurrrt."

Then started laughing because she was, indeed, not sad at all.

Girls.

    Hey Sarah! Good to hear from you! Hope all is going well with you and your family. You have such beautiful children and your stories are amazing! I love to read them, and this one especially... I remember doing that to my brothers!!!

Another Child One Day

Going back through my posts, I realized I had a few blogs I wrote but never published. One is when I was wavering between adopting or birthing our fourth child. One thing is for sure: our family is not complete. I cannot explain that other than I just know. For awhile there, I was strongly contemplating adopting, but for now, I am leaning more towards birthing the last child. In fact, I am most certain, God willing, that is what our plans are. We are trying to decide when to try to have a baby. And by "try", I mean get pregnant. I have many weaknesses, but fertility is not one of them. In case you can't tell. Our kids are fairly close, so one part of me wants to get pregnant in about 9-10 months....and be done. Forever!! But another part of me wonders if I should take a longer break. Christmas Traditions

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Along with pretty much everyone else, this is my most favorite holiday. As my children age, it just keeps getting better and better!! Establishing traditions is one of my goals during the holiday season. I am a sentimental person, and I am hopeful my kids will grow up with fond memories of their childhood Christmases. Most, if not all, of my traditions are not original. I glean ideas from others and make it my own. The Happy Home Fairy is a wonderful resource for making your holiday magical.
